Perth RCWC Iyar Event

Perth RCWC recently held a Rosh Chodesh Iyar event with story presenter Michelle Lewson, a member of the Chevra Kadisha. She spoke of her journey coming from an uncomfortable nervousness around death to ultimately finding the beauty in the Mitzvah of Tahara. The audience found it very insightful to learn of the work of the Chevra Kadisha, and especially the dignity, beauty and kindness imbued at that time. It was also a great comfort to those who have lost a loved one, to know of the dignifying way their loved ones were treated at this sacred moment. The participants appreciated the gratitude journals that they were gifted with by the RCWC and thoroughly enjoyed the informative and inspiring evening.

Perth RCWC is now looking forward to its next Rosh Chodesh event, coming up in Tammuz.
