Evelyn Rose Memorial Award

Rebbetzin Sara Gutnick introduced the Inaugural Evelyn Rose Award at the annual Inner Circle meeting, explaining that last year at the annual Inner Circle we started the beautiful custom to present an award to one or two affiliates. Each award comes with a generous grant.

Sara spoke of her dear friend and neighbour Evelyn Rose OBM who, despite being unwell, undertook many communal activities including the RCWC as its longstanding bookkeeper and board member. “Evelyn never gave up or delayed anything, she was passionate and devoted, with excellent organisational and team effort skills”, she said. “She leaves a void which we cannot fill and she is sorely missed”.

Sara then read the certificate as she awarded it to the Perth RCWC, a group in its fifth year of creating beautiful events in partnership with the RCWC.
